Collection of Personal Data
When you become a customer / client of our organisation you need to provide us with personal information about you which may comprise your name, address, and phone number which will be used to identify you. We may also collect personal information from you if you are not a client or customer for the purposes of maintaining professional contact or marketing or promotional activities.
We will, from time to time, collect other data about you with your permission which we believe is necessary for us to conduct our internal operations or marketing activities.

Use of Personal Data
BusinessMinds performs analytics and business intelligence work for clients using their own customer data, including personal information. This data is generally maintained at the client site, but may be taken off- site to BusinessMinds’ workplaces and may be disclosed to other members of BusinessMinds. Only information relevant to the work being performed will be collected from clients. Ownership of such data remains at all times with the client.
All client data passed to BusinessMinds will be covered by a comprehensive Confidentiality Agreement signed by both parties stating that your data will:
• Be kept confidential, and
• Be returned on request or when no longer needed.
BusinessMinds also collects personal information (name, address, and contact details) about our clients and colleagues for the purposes of maintaining contact, financial and operational processes, improving service quality, and various BusinessMinds marketing related activities (e.g. newsletters and promotional correspondence).
BusinessMinds ensures that any personal information provided is never passed to a third party except where:
• The individual has consented to this, or
• The law requires it.
Our direct marketing consists of a range of communications such as newsletters, promotional correspondence, invitations to events, industry announcements, etc. We may communicate our marketing using postal mail, telephone, email, or SMS. We will only send you any advertisement, marketing or promotional material, or product information if you have elected to receive such information. • To contracted external organisations to produce support services such as debt collection or credit reporting agencies.

BusinessMinds data storage is shared with our operational offices located in Denmark and the Philippines. We ensure that such shared information is protected by law which upholds Australian Privacy Principles.
